I can now see what I was running on last night in the dark. I've been shin deep in straw for the last 7 miles. Combine this with another hot day and I'm having to put in a very tough shift. I've decided to get off the A30 for now and run along some B roads. The route is slightly longer but should increase the chances of getting 25 miles in today. There is still the option of splitting the day up again. I might play that Ace later. All in all this is proving to be a tough finish to a very gruelling tour. But then I just look at the new sponsors today and realise how worthwhile it all is.
