I'm scheduled for a 10:15 start today. One of the support crew (my missus) has smothered me in jungle strength insect repellent.
Another good omen! The lady at the B&B is a really friendly Geordie. Imagine Oz's wife Marjorie from Auf Wiedersehen Pet and you're not far that away (I hope she never reads this!).
