Carlton and I carried out a reccy of the first 4 miles of my route out of Belgrade and over the Pančevo Bridge accompanied by a local runner called Vladan this morning.
It was a very useful exercise and I now have a good idea of how tricky it will be to run safely out of the city when stage 5 of the run around the world eventually gets underway. I have a meeting at the British Embassy at 8am on Monday to progress that by the way. I'll update this site as well as Facebook and Twitter when I have something to report tomorrow.
