At the time of writing, I've got almost 600 followers on Twitter. This is the place that I always update first with Run Geordie Run news and photos.
A recent example of this was when I fell of my bike last week and I wrote the following on Twitter "Doh! Flat tyre! Crashed on a corner! Think my ankle is broken. Not good! At least the sun is out.".
Twitter has added a valuable extra dimension for Run Geordie Run. I've made contact with some great people. The support and encouragement I get from the good folk on Twitter will be a very valuable asset over the coming months, I'm sure.
