Team Run Geordie Run is now almost 20 runners strong for this year's Great North Run. This small band of kind folk will be going all out to complete the 32nd Great North Run whilst raising funds for The Children's Foundation.
I'll write more about the team in the build up to the event in September. In the meantime, I'd like to thank 6 year old Elliott Atkinson for joining the team. As you can tell from the picture below, Eliiott really enjoys his running.
He looks a very determined young lad in the photo below, which is brilliant. News reached me today that he told his Mam that he's going to spend all of the Summer holidays training!
Elliott will be 7 by the time he does the Mini Great North Run and his parents, Joanne and Stuart, have every right to be very proud of him.
