Day 96 - Underway

So many people to thank today. The charity fund has now gone through the 47, 48 and £49,000 barriers. Thanks to everyone who has donated to the 2 charities today. All donations are greatly appreciated whether they be pocket money or a huge sum such as the one from Chapman Ventilation.

I felt so honoured today when a donation from Sir Bobby Robson's family was made. The following message was left on the justgiving.com site"`keep going son` as he would say. From Lady Elsie, Mark, Paul, Andrew and all at the Foundation.". And keep going I will over the final 220 or so miles to New York.

I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Ian Young's Mam last night. Ian is a great lad, accomplished runner and has ran many a mile with me in training. My thoughts are with Ian and his family. Today's miles are dedicated to the memory of his Mam.

If you would like to sponsor my run across the USA then donations can be made in a number of ways. www.justgiving.com have introduced a brilliant new free donation method. Did you know that you can now donate to the 2 charities using your mobile phone?
